# Promote companies

> Turn accepted candidates into company records.

**Promoting** a candidate creates a real company record in your workspace. From there the company
behaves like any other CRM company — you can enrich it, attach signals, and export it.

## Add a candidate to Companies

1. In **Prospecting → Candidates**, open a candidate you [accepted](https://docs.enrik.ai/review-candidates.md), or select
   several accepted candidates.
2. Choose **Add to Companies**.
3. The candidate becomes a company record under **Companies**.

If the company is already in your workspace, choose **Link existing** instead. Enrik also refuses
to add a candidate whose domain another company already uses, and asks you to resolve it — usually
by linking the candidate to that company.

Promotion is deliberate and one-directional: it's how a suggestion graduates into managed data, so
your company list stays intentional.

## Find your companies

Go to **Companies** to see everything you've added. Open any company to view its detail, custom
fields, and enrichment columns.

> [!NOTE]
>
> **Beta limitations.** Duplicate checks match on the company's domain. A candidate without a domain
> can still duplicate a company you already have, so check before adding it.
