AI agents are configurable assistants you build once and run over your records — for example to classify, summarize, or draft per row. Once published, an agent can be invoked from a table column or a workflow.

Build an agent

  1. Go to Agents and choose New agent.
  2. In Configure, describe what the agent should do, the information it needs and the results it returns, then choose Save draft version. Use Test to try the saved draft.
  3. In Use agent, choose Publish draft when it’s ready to use.

Run an agent

  • As a table column that runs the agent per row: on Companies or Contacts, choose Columns → New agent column and map the inputs and results. Run it from the column’s menu, for example Run selected rows or Run empty cells.
  • As a Run Agent step inside a workflow.
Agent runs are processed asynchronously in the background. To check a single run, choose Look up a previous run in Use agent and paste the run’s id into Run history.
Agents run behind the same permission, history, and metering safeguards as the rest of the app, and outbound calls go through egress protections.
Beta limitations. Agent runs are metered and capped during the private beta, and an agent must be published before it can be invoked. Results depend on your configured AI provider.
