A source (discovery job) finds candidate companies that match your ICP. Candidates are suggestions — you review them before anything becomes a real company record.

Start a discovery job

  1. Go to Prospecting and choose Find prospects.
  2. Choose where to find companies, such as a pasted list, a website page, or an event or directory, and configure it. Optionally link an ICP profile and discovery brief.
  3. Review the search and choose Create & start. It runs in the background and adds candidates as it goes.

Track progress

Open the job from Prospecting → Search history to watch its status. Jobs run asynchronously, so you can leave the page and come back — the status updates when work completes. When the job finishes, its candidate companies are ready to review in Prospecting → Candidates.
Beta limitations. Discovery volume per job and per workspace is capped during the private beta to keep things fair and reliable. A job that hits a limit stops cleanly and tells you why; the candidates it already produced are still available to review.
