A custom API column calls an external API you configure and writes the response into a column on your company or contact table — a way to bring your own data source into Enrik.

Configure a connector

  1. Go to Settings → Custom API and choose Add connector. Owners and admins manage connectors.
  2. Set the URL template, the Auth type and any secrets the request needs.
  3. Choose Save connector so columns can reference it.

Add a custom API column

  1. Open Companies or Contacts and choose Columns → New custom API column.
  2. Pick your Connector, then set the Response path that selects the part of the response to write, for example $.data.score.
  3. Choose Create column.
To fill the column, run a workflow with a Run Custom API Column step. Custom API columns run asynchronously through a background queue, so requests for many rows are processed reliably without blocking the table.
Connector credentials live in workspace settings and are never shown back in plaintext after you save them. Only configure endpoints you trust.
Beta limitations. Custom API requests are metered and capped during the private beta, and outbound requests run through egress safeguards. A request that is blocked or rate-limited surfaces an error in the cell.
